The US Sustainability Training Program wrapped up its latest session on June 5–6 and 9, 2025, with outstanding success. Organized by the Center for Sustainability and Excellence (CSE), this three-day course empowered professionals to lead sustainable change in their organizations.
A Diverse Group with a Common Goal
Participants came from Thoughtworks, Cargill, Liberty Diversified, Phillips Mushroom Farm, MIT, Metropolitan Water District, and HMRI. They represented a wide range of sectors, including tech, agriculture, manufacturing, and public agencies.
Moreover, the program welcomed international professionals from Ireland, Singapore, Canada, and the Dominican Republic. As a result, the training included a rich blend of global perspectives and regional challenges.
What They Learned
Throughout the sessions, participants gained practical tools and strategies. Specifically, they learned to:

By the end of the course, each participant earned a globally recognized ESG Practitioner Certification. More importantly, they gained fresh insights and a renewed sense of purpose.
Many said the training transformed their approach to sustainability. Instead of viewing it as a compliance task, they now see it as a driver of innovation and value. In addition, they left the course confident and motivated to make a difference.
